Working in the semiconductor industry it is possible having to develop a test board with specific characteristics and able to adapt at the following DUT (Device Under Test).
In this case we will talk about a Probe Card, a circular board with 11 inch of diameter (27.94 cm) and an high thickness of 7 mm compared to 1.6 mm standard.
In the two previous articles dedicated to ARINC 429, there are all the necessary concepts to implement functional tests using the ARINC Channels library.
But now, to finish the job, I need the electrical test. Let’s see how to do in this article.
In the previous article, I described the ARINC 429 and explained how to receive the labels transmitted by the unit under test (I recommend reading them to those who have not yet done so).
In this one, I will explain how to transmit the labels, which is necessary to verify that the UUT is able to receive correctly. Remember that ARINC library has six functions: we have already seen three of them and we will use here the other two (for the sixth and last, we have to wait for the next article).
